It is essential for professionals in the field to be familiar with the <strong>distinct characteristics of <a href=\"https:\/\/alerisnutrition.com\/es\/mascotas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"yeast-based products\">yeast-based products<\/a><\/strong> to formulate <strong>more precise diets<\/strong>, taking into account health conditions and specific dietary needs. As a defense mechanism, it <strong>increases its cell wall thickness<\/strong>, resulting in a <strong>high-quality product<\/strong> with nutraceutical purposes for companion animals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is well-known that production techniques have been progressively refined and adapted to ensure the production of <strong>yeast with higher nutritional quality and better utilization by animals<\/strong>, especially those derived from ethanol fermentation. However, the main challenges in obtaining yeast-based products are related to ensuring adequate ethanol production yield (biomass) and <strong>optimal metabolic activity<\/strong> to avoid contaminants in the final product. This can be achieved through <strong>strict quality control<\/strong> during yeast processing, particularly concerning physicochemical parameters: medium composition, impurity separation, temperature, pH, agitation, and optimal nutrient concentration. MOS can also bind to the intestinal mucosa, forming a protective <strong>physical barrier<\/strong> that prevents colonization by harmful microorganisms,<strong> supporting health and well-being<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Beta-glucans<\/strong>&nbsp;belong to the class of <strong>biological response modifiers<\/strong>, aiding normal cells in producing chemical messengers that enhance the immune system\u2019s ability to <strong>identify, modulate, and produce defense substances<\/strong>.
