ALERIS FACTORY

Inauguration of the Aleris Factory

Manufacturing Unit in Jundiaí

MANUFACTURING UNIT RECEIVED A CONTRIBUTION OF MORE THAN R$ 2 MILLION AND WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A NEW CLASS OF NUTRITIONAL ADDITIVES, A MILESTONE FOR THE BRAZILIAN ANIMAL NUTRITION INDUSTRY

The recently opened Aleris industrial plant represents a milestone in the history of the company specialized in animal nutrition based in Jundiaí and which has been on the market since 2012. A successful trajectory based on a product with more than 50 years on the market and the professional history of the founder, the young entrepreneur Daniel Nazarian de Morais who, after many years working in the animal nutrition market in large companies in the segment performing functions related to his training, business administration with qualifications in foreign trade, saw the opportunity to start his own business together with a partner, Dwayne Souza. “Our goal has always been to become a reference in the global market in providing natural solutions in animal nutrition and health throughout the world and resilience is Aleris’ main competency”, defines the executive.

Currently operating globally, exporting products to 29 countries, with 30 direct employees and subsidiaries in the United States, Mexico and Portugal, the businessman explains that Aleris began its operations with a value proposition based on transparency, versatility and a commitment to offering the market disruptive and modern technologies for animal nutrition. “I often say that Aleris is the result of our professional experiences and solid partnerships created over the years, making it possible to deliver products for specific species to the market. In other words, we propose to open the black box of yeast, a market that gained prominence in the late 90s and early 2000s, but with a subjective comparative method linked to the marketing fog and commonly recommended by many as the silver bullet. of nutrition. Our proposal is different, disruptive, and the consequence of our desire is translated into a factory that will produce something new with exclusive Aleris technological support and that will open the doors to a new class of product for the multispecies animal nutrition market”, adds Daniel.

The factory will be responsible for producing Aleris' own product line. He highlights that in 2018, with the arrival of two new collaborators in the technical area, zootechnicians Adriana Figueiredo and Mariana Nascimento, manager and technical coordinator respectively, the project of its own and exclusive formulations took shape. “An initiative that encompasses our initial plan with scientific validations that began in 2015 with important universities in the country, but before the announcement our manufacturing was outsourced”, he recalls.

The manufacturing project was carried out for a year with national suppliers and has a capacity for 10 thousand tons per year, but with the possibility of tripling the volume. Aleris currently has 16 items in its portfolio. “This investment made it possible to create a new class of product, MAC (Microbiota Activating Compounds). In other words, it is the synergistic combination of compounds capable of beneficially modulating the intestinal microbiota”, details Daniel, but to make this technology possible, Aleris developed the MAP (Modulation Advanced Program), an artificial intelligence that supports the MAC and which is responsible for identifying and correlating the microbiota profiles of each animal with characteristics aimed at well-being and healthiness.

The first line developed with MAC and MAP technologies is Provillus. “The pet segment is the first sector to have access to this unprecedented technology in the world that links performance and intestinal health with the animal’s microbiome”, he reveals and points out that other segments will benefit, including: poultry farming, swine farming, aquaculture and shrimp farming. .
