Aleris welcomes LATAM partners to the first edition of the Fermentacon Workshop

The four-day event aimed to strengthen partnerships and promote innovations in animal nutrition with responsibility and transparency, pillars of the company with its partners and the market.

Aleris Animal Nutrition, a global leader in yeast-based nutritional additives for animal feed, held the first edition of the Workshop Fermentacon – Fermenting Knowledge in Animal Nutrition from June 3 to 6, 2024, at the Intercity Hotel, in Itupeva (SP). The event was a pioneering initiative by the company, aimed at distributors in Latin America to reinforce mutual practices and values, in addition to presenting the latest innovations in multi-species animal nutrition.

Fermentacon featured lectures, round tables and technical visits, including the Aleris yeast-derived products manufacturing plant (Jundiaí/SP), and participation in FENAGRA 2024 – International Fair of Agroindustry, Feed & Food, Technology and Processing, in the Anhembi District, São Paulo, on June 5th.

“The goal is to align distributors, to bring them closer to the company, our quality, our way of working and transparency, something that we prioritize a lot and is one of our pillars,” said Roberta Bueno Ayres Rodrigues, LATAM Commercial Coordinator at Aleris.

Through this workshop, the company aims to further project its name, quality and the benefits of using the line of natural yeast-based additives to maximize the animal performance and the economic results across the entire value chain, from farm to table. In other words, using natural science to serve animal production even more more sustainable.

“With this project, we want to expand the brand through them, because they are our arms in each country where we are present”, the manager points out.

The event had 9 guests, Aleris partner professionals from several Latin American countries, and addressed topics such as the yeast market, applications of specific products for monogastrics and ruminants, and the impact of the microbiome on animal health.
