After the five-year hiatus in the contractual clause for the sale of BTech, a company he founded in 1992 and which prevented the businessman from operating in the segment, Roberto remained involved in other aspects of agribusiness.

His success in managing the National Animal Feed Industry Union (Sindirações, São Paulo/SP) and interest in associative life kept the businessman active. Roberto Betancourt is currently the Head of the Agribusiness Department of the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (DEAGRO/FIESP, São Paulo/SP).

Esalquiano, Agricultural Engineer and MSc. in Animal Science, entrepreneurship orbited his professional trajectory from a very early age. Now, on this new path, Roberto makes available to Aleris all his experience built successfully in the animal feed industry and associative career.

In addition to Aleris Animal Nutrition, Roberto Betancourt operates and invests in other businesses. Today he manages Fazenda Poncia Palmeiras (Jacareí/SP), a reference company in the production and sale of palm trees, and is an angel investor in Cromai, an artificial intelligence startup focused on the agricultural sector that won the Agrishow Startups 2023 Award.
